I will be performing twice at PLANTATION WALK in September, the first is tomorrow, Friday 9/6 at 5pm. This is an outdoor gig under an unbrella on a stage just a stone's throw from The Rise At Plantation and right next to Kob's Green Market. I play there again on Sunday 9/22 at 3pm. Sunday I am honored to be performing "virtually" at the Greenwich Village Folk Festival. They tell me I performed at the very first live GVFF way back in 1987 (I think it was '87). I do remember it, that festival always had nice crowds. I am excited to play again at The Dolphin Bar & Shrimp House in Jensen Beach on Saturday. It is a beautiful and historic restaurant with a spectacular view of the Indian River, and a delicious menu. The "Blues Over Easy Jam" at Kelly Brothers is always a great time and last Wednesday was no exception. A lot of high quality players there, some young guns, and some let's call 'em "mature muskets". The gun reference is merely a metaphor, as you no doubt know, but I do like a player who comes fully "loaded" and "aims" at the right target at the right time. I have some fun gigs this weekend. On Saturday I'll be at Stringers in the Stuart/Jensen Beach area, and if you've never been there you should check it out. The Indian River is just a couple of blocks away along with a beautiful bridge and boats. Stringers has good food too.  On Sunday I will be at Plantation Walk in the Fort Lauderdale/Plantation area.
