The Robert Ross Band is finally back in action. We are performing at Lake Pavillion in West Palm Beach on August 20th. We will be a quartet. Sunday I will perform at the Mandel Public Library at 1pm. Free admission. The theme for the day is colors so most of the songs will mention colors. My producers tell me that my new vinyl record will be out in the fall. It will be called Gospel Gems. It includes some personal favorites including Ain't Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me Round, Go Down Moses, Were You There When They Crucified My Lord, and Ave Maria. The last two are slide guitar instrumentals, the former played solo, and the latter backed up by piano and upright bass. On Mother's Day I will appear on "Folk & Acoustic Music w/Mike Stock" on WLRN Radio. WLRN is a PBS station. I will be promoting my gig at Luna Star Cafe in North Miami on the following Friday, May 16. Luna Star is a wonderful and intimate music venue with great food.
