I was in France for ten months in 1982 and 1983. I signed a recording contract with an independent rockabilly label called Big Beat Records in Paris the day before returning to the USA. I put my band back together and we started rehearsing and recording asap. During the process, Big Beat made a deal with RCA Records to release our LP on a new subsidiary label called Victoria Records.
