These are strange and dark times, no doubt about it, but we can get through this if we all work together, work hard, and work smart. We might have to think out of the box too. Trying to stay sane and upbeat is a challenge now. My solo gig at Vinos On Gault Mile in Fort Lauderdale is cancelled for obvious reasons. I've gotten a few other cancellations already. And so it starts. We're all in this together. Now's the time when our federal government is supposed to help people, that's what government is for, and now more than ever. The ideas of Franklin D. Having won the South Florida Blues Challenge back in September, Ross 'n' Rose went to Memphis last week to compete in The IBC (International Blues Challenge). It was a thrilling experience. There were 99 bands and 89 solos/duos performing in about 10 or 12 clubs up and down Beale St. All the entrants to the competittion had already won the right to ccompte in Memphis because they had won a competition locally.
