The Greenwich Village Folk Festival was a gas, a zoomin' bloomin' blast. Great to catch up with some old friends from the old Village days in the '70's, '80's and '90's. It was also great to hear what they are doing musically these days. And it was great to meet new singer songwriters and musicians. Zoom has been a real life saver. Tuesday is a zoom solo show for the West Boca Public Library. Thursday is a live solo show in Hallandale at The Blues Burghers. Saturday is the return of Ross 'n' Rose in Fort Lauderdale at Blue Jean Blues. Heidi "Heidi Ho" and I have only done a handfull of gigs since we made the semi-finals at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis back in late January 2020. February was a very slow month for me even for the pandemic. I did have only 2 gigs, and both were at Blues Burghers. One was a solo gig, and the other was with my pal Clayton Goldstein who is doing a regular Sunday late afternoon gig there. My next gig isn't until early March.
