Sunday I will perform at the Mandel Public Library at 1pm. Free admission. The theme for the day is colors so most of the songs will mention colors. Blue of course, red, white, yellow, green, brown, and black will all be covered. Oh and pink. I have a lot of Halloween songs but none of them mention pumpkins, I don't think. Anyway, colors man!!
Then I fly to Boston where I will perform with my old pal, harmonica player and singer Larry Hambrecht at a private party. 
Unfortunately, due to a problem with my phone I could not get into the WLRN building last Sunday to do Mike Stock's Folk And Acoustic Music radio show. Weird. Sorry to inconvenience or disappoint anyone who tried to tune in to hear me on the show. 
I'll be at Luna Star Cafe on Friday July 18, one of my favorite venues. 
That reminds me, I should mention that if you have a heart or lung problem such as COPD or asthma etc., I am involved with Dr. James Cassidy who organized a harmonica class at the Weisman Delray Community Center in Delray on the 4th Thursday of each month. 
I also will be doing a few private parties here and there as well as guitar, harmonica, voice, and songwriting classes or workshops. If interested send me an email.

If you have a heart or lung problem such as COPD or asthma etc., I recommend taking the harmonica class at the Weisman Delray Community Center on the 4th Thursday of each month at 9:30 am. Dr. James Cassidy organized this for some of his patients who have lost some heart or lung function and hired me to teach there once a month. None of the students are musicians, they are absolute beginners who are learning to play a little harmonica in order to strengthen their hearts and lungs. Dr. Cassidy is in the process of organizing a study to see just how effective the inhaling and exhaling involved in playing a harmonica is at improving breathing and overall wellness. If you are interested in exercising your lungs, picking up a few licks, and having a good time I suggest you call the Weisman Community Center and ask if there is room for one more student. Tell them you are a fan of Robert Ross.

GUITAR / BASS / HARMONICA LESSONS
From award winning recording artist & seasoned educator Robert Ross
I will be taking on a limited number of dedicated guitar, bass, and harmonica students regardless of age or current level of expertise.
Robert is a two time New York Music Award winner and a New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee. Robert is known for a wide variety of blues, jazz, soul, country, rock ‘n’ roll, folk, and other roots music. Robert worked and recorded with Big Joe Turner and also worked with Lightnin’ Hopkins, John Lee Hooker, Otis Rush, Big Mama Thornton, Brownie McGhee, Memphis Slim, and other legends. One of Robert’s songs was recorded by Johnny Winter, and two other songs appeared on the soap opera “All My Children”. The Robert Ross Band has released 7 internationally distributed CDs and toured two continents. Robert has been teaching guitar for more then 25 years privately, and 13 years in NYC public schools. Robert’s work in the schools has been cited by the NY State Council of the Arts (NYSCA) for “best practices in arts in education programming”.
Lessons are $40 per half hour, and $60 per hour.
