Short Bio: Robert Ross is an award winning singer, songwriter, guitarist, & harmonica player known for blues, jazz, soul, and blues rock. Robert recorded with Big Joe Turner, and also worked with John Lee Hooker, Lightnin' Hopkins, Brownie McGhee, Memphis Slim, Otis Rush, Charles & Cyrille Neville, Pinetop Perkins, Big Mama Thornton, and many others. Robert's song "Sittin' In The Jailhouse" was recorded by Johnny Winter, and 2 other songs made it onto the soap opera All My Children in 2008. Robert performs as a solo, duo, or with The Robert Ross Band. Robert won a NY Music Award for Best Blues Artist in 1989 and has been nominated 6 times over the years. He tours frequently and has 7 cds in his own name. Legendary FM Radio DJ Bob Fass, host of Radio Un-nameable on WBAI says, "Robert Ross is a blues icon, one of the great blues
spirits."
