Piermont is a beautiful little town just west of the Hudson River, near the Tappan Zee Bridge and about 3 miles south of Nyack, NY.

The Turning Point is one of the East Coast's premier music clubs. It has excellent sound, stage and lights.

It was awesome to see a lot of old friends and music colleagues at Karola's memorial at NYR Studios last Monday night. Joe Taino, Flaming Amy, Irving Louis Latin, Brad Vickers, Arthur Neilson, Margie Peters, Chuck Hancock, Kid Java, Amy Madden, Barry Harrison, Alvin, Mark the Harper, and so many others. And of course the old Dan Lynch crowd including Hamp, Alex, Buddy, Annette, and so many more.

Short Bio: Robert Ross is an award winning singer, songwriter, guitarist, & harmonica player known for blues, jazz, soul, and blues rock. Ross' song "Sittin' In The Jailhouse" was recorded by Johnny Winter, and 2 other songs made it onto ABC's "All My Children". Ross recorded and worked with Big Joe Turner. Ross also worked with Lightnin' Hopkins, John Lee Hooker, Big Mama Thornton, Brownie McGhee, Memphis Slim, Sunnyland Slim, Otis Rush, Dr. John, J.B. Hutto, Victoria Spivey, Louisiana Red, Eddie Kirkland, Floyd Jones, Homesick James, Bobby Lewis, Charles Ward (Ink Spots), Pinetop Perkins, Charles & Cyrille Neville, David "Honey Boy" Edwards, Charles "Honey Boy" Otis, S.P. Leary, Washboard Doc, Bill Dicey, Curtis Steigers, Curtis Knight, Charles Walker, Linda Hopkins, Bobby Lewis, Wilbert Harrison, & Champion Jack Dupree. Ross performs as a solo, duo, or with The Robert Ross Band. Ross won a NY Music Award for Best Blues Artist in 1989 and has been nominated 6 times over the years. Ross tours and has released 7 cds in his own name.
