We worked at Elsewhere three nights a week and the three of these blues giants would lead the band.

Elmore James did a very famous version of it too in the late 1950s and the song has been recorded by numerous blues artists ever since. 69 Chevy is an original tune that was released three times: "Introducing Robert Ross" on Baron Records in 1981, "Rockin' The Rails" on Blue Planet in 1991, and "Sleight of Hand" on Fountainbleu in 2002. The video stopped about halfway through the song.

The Robert Ross Band performing at the Stanhope House in New Jersey in 1988. The trio features George Morales on drums, Charlie Torres on bass, and Robert Ross on vocals & guitar. Only half of this original song, "Going Back Home" was recorded by it's worth hearing and seeing. The song was originally released on an LP entitled "It's Rough 'n' Tough" in France in 1984 on a subsidiary of RCA called Victoria Records. We don't remember who shot this footage.
